After School is a women's group in South Korea, consisting of eight members managed by the Company Pledis Entertainment.

Most of the members of After School have been Son Dam Bi dancers or other artists before his debut. The group made its comeback on April 9, 2009 in M! Countdown. On 21 May, the group released their third single, a version of Love Machine and the mythical popular Japanese bands morning musume, entitled "Dream Girl." In July, it was announced that the group would work with Son Dam Bi, for an announcement of the new samsung, releasing a digital single "AMOLED" released on the 16th of that month.

The October 29, 2009, Soyoung Yoo left the group citing problems health were the cause of his departure. Later it was replaced by two new members, Raina and Nana.

AS Soon made his Comeback on November 25, 2009 with the single "Because of You", with teasers that were released a day before . The song was made after school in the top 5 for weeks, won three Billboard Mutizen and Japan, led several online charts. After that, they released a remixed version of 'Because of you' online.

On 17 March, announced the new member would be part of After S, Lizzy, after the publication of pictures of his new concept for the next single-album, Bang!.
